On June 21st, as the sun dipped over the Rhône and the longest day of the year came to a close, something magical happened at Melrose Kitchen on Île Rousseau. Together with Clarins Switzerland, we welcomed 32 inspiring women for a summer evening dedicated to light, beauty, connection — and a little self-reflection.

A Celebration of Light, Inside and Out

The theme of the night was “Find the Light in Your Life” — and from the golden-hour portraits to the candlelit tables, everything was aligned to help us do just that. Each guest discovered Clarins’ new Double Serum Light Texture, a summertime version of the brand’s most iconic serum (did you know one is sold every 5 seconds worldwide?!). Light in texture, powerful in results — just like the women around our table.

Connection, Conversation, and Inspiration

Over a beautifully curated apéro and dinner by Melrose Kitchen, we shared stories and sipped on Swiss wines by Henri Vins, expertly introduced by their sommelier. Throughout the evening, special guests Amanda Castillo, Inès-Olympe Mercadal, and other inspiring women spoke about how they found their own light — sparking honest, heartfelt exchanges that reminded us how powerful shared experiences can be.

With the sun setting over the water and candles flickering across the table, the evening became more than just an event — it was a moment of calm, clarity, and connection. We shared laughter, dreams, and a few goosebumps as women opened up about the light they’ve found in their own lives.
