Looking for a fun, practical, and creative experience to enjoy with your daughter?
The Art of Hair is a beautifully designed Sunday morning workshop for one parent and one child. Together, you’ll learn simple hairstyling techniques while building confidence, creativity, and connection — and leave with skills you can use again and again at home.
No prior experience needed. Just curiosity, care, and the joy of learning together.
What You’ll Learn
Guided by an experienced professional hairstylist, you’ll learn three versatile hairstyles, all based on the ponytail — easy to master and perfect for everyday life:
The Classic Ponytail — clean, polished, and effortless
The Braided Ponytail — playful and practical
The Chic Chignon — ideal for dance class or special occasions
Each style is taught step by step, with hands-on guidance to build confidence and simplicity.
How the Morning Will Flow
To keep the experience relaxed and engaging, participants will be divided into two small groups:
Group 1: Hairstyling workshop with the professional stylist
Group 2: A creative activity, personalising a beautiful pouch to take home
Midway through the morning, the groups will switch so everyone enjoys both experiences at an easy pace.
A small goûter will be shared by parents and children, creating a warm moment to connect and unwind together.

The workshop takes place at Haydee Barron Académie de Danse, a respected dance school in the heart of Eaux-Vives. Known for its commitment to discipline, creativity, and self-expression, the academy offers an inspiring environment where children grow in confidence and grace — the perfect setting for this parent-child experience.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made less than 4 days before the event are non-refundable.
For eligible cancellations, a CHF 15 administrative fee will be deducted.
